The terms for using Diagram Workshop: accounts, acceptable use, payments and credits, your materials and results, and limits of liability.

Acceptance of terms
By using Diagram Workshop (the "service"), operated by Cicadas ("we"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Diagram Workshop lets you request an editable flowchart draft from an image. The settings on offer, their limits and the credit cost of each request are shown in the workbench before you confirm. We may change, suspend or stop a feature, with reasonable notice where possible.
AI output can be wrong: it can change details of your image or miss text and structure. Review every result before using it. A recorded example does not guarantee the same result for your input.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law that applies to you or your viewers;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- upload or generate content that our acceptable use policy forbids;
- attempt to access systems or data that are not yours, or interfere with the service;
- resell or automate access to the service without our written agreement.
Payments and credits
Plans and credit packs state their price, billing interval and the credits they include at checkout. Each generation shows its credit cost before you confirm it, and credits are deducted when the request is accepted.
Confirmed provider rejection or an invalid generated result returns the credits automatically. An uncertain submission or delivery outcome needs review; it is not automatically repeated or refunded. That is a credit restoration, not a refund to your payment method. Refunds to your payment method are described in the refund policy.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel in your account at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Credits from a subscription are granted for each billing period and do not carry over. Credit packs are valid for the period stated at purchase.
Your materials and results
Upload only material you have the right to use, including permission to use a person's likeness where the law requires it. Uploading does not transfer ownership of your content to us; we process it to deliver the result you asked for.
As between you and us, the results you generate are yours to use. Your use must still respect the rights in your inputs, the law, and the conditions of the model and its provider. Generating a result does not give you exclusive rights in it and does not license any third-party brand, character or likeness that appears in it. Generation runs through fal.ai; see fal's terms and the model's own conditions.
Diagram requests use the OpenRouter vision route hosted on fal.ai with a Google vision model. Your uploaded image is sent to fal.ai and the downstream AI providers to produce the draft.
Our content
The site, its design and its text are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. Names of AI models and their makers belong to their respective owners.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Cancelling a subscription or signing out does not delete your account. To ask for deletion, email us.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version; for material changes we will also post a notice in the service.
